United Escapes of America - Lake Norman

I've now completed all of the rooms, and I can confidently say this is one of the best escape room experiences I've had. Every room features puzzles that are challenging, creative, and fair. The solutions make sense, and the difficulty feels rewarding. My favorite room is Grave Consequences. As someone who loves horror-themed escape rooms, it delivered exactly the atmosphere and experience I enjoy most. Angela, who was my game master for Grave Consequences. She was awesome, provided helpful clues when we asked for them, and gave us just the right nudges when we needed a little guidance without spoiling the experience. Even though horror-themed escape rooms are typically my favorite, Bigfoot Encounter completely won me over. It was my first escape room with a Bigfoot theme, and it quickly became one of my favorite non-horror escape rooms. I also had the honor of serving as a beta tester for one of their rooms, which gave me an even greater appreciation for the effort, creativity, and attention to detail that goes into creating these experiences. The staff have always been fantastic, friendly, welcoming, and excellent game masters. I've heard there's a new room currently in the works, and I'll definitely be returning to play it as soon as it opens.

What a fun experience! I came with my husband and two daughters aged 8 and almost 11. We did The Pirate’s Keep. It was just the right amount of difficulty for us. We wanted to make sure the girls felt involved-the puzzles were hard enough that it took a little thought but not so hard that we were all hopelessly stumped. We had enough time to allow the girls to read the puzzles, write down notes, and open the locks. The workers were very kind and welcoming. Everything was smooth and on time. The locks were easy to use and ther room design/props were clean. Will definitely come again!

We had the best time trying our luck with the pirate's room. We did not complete it in the time allotted, but we laughed a lot at each other. 😂 Angela was our game master throughout our journey. She was very nice and informative the whole time. She told us it was rated a medium difficulty, I would disagree. This was one of the more challenging rooms I've ever played. I would highly recommend United Escapes experience to everyone who loves an adventure.

We had an absolute blast at this escape room! I went with a group of friends and it was the perfect mix of challenging and fun. The puzzles were creative, the room was well put together, and the whole experience kept us engaged the entire time. Our game master, Angela, was awesome and truly made the experience even better. She was welcoming, helpful at just the right moments, and brought great energy to the whole thing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun group activity!
