I had an absolutely incredible experience at Urbana Spa. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely welcomed and taken care of. I treated myself to a full day of services, a body wrap, head spa, body massage, facial, salt cave session, and even enjoyed a nutritious lunch, and every single element was thoughtfully curated and beautifully executed. The entire experience felt luxurious, relaxing, and deeply rejuvenating. What truly stood out was the team. The therapists are not only highly skilled, but also genuinely warm and attentive. They created such a calming and welcoming environment that made it easy to fully unwind and enjoy every moment. This was more than just a spa visit, it was a complete wellness experience. I was looking for a new massage place and came in for a massage. The table was not warm this is an essential. I was never asked about a warm table. The front desk receptionist was very loud talking to another employee and I could hear their conversation while I was being service. This was not a relaxing experience.

Went there today for my birthday. The Good: Jane did my facial and she was fantastic. It was my first time and she walked me through everything she was doing. It was incredibly relaxing and my skin feels great. I was worried due to having dry skin and eczema but was very pleasantly surprised by the outcome. Beautiful interior, and relaxing atmosphere. The Bad: I got a massage (Reva?), with added scalp and foot massage. I asked for medium pressure, and said the only trouble area was my hips. Pressure was very light. I did ask for it harder. It was relaxing, but the lightest massage I’ve ever had. She never touched my hips. She touched my feet for about 20 minutes, then did a great scalp massage for about 10. I would 100% go back and see Jane. I might get a massage, but it would have to be with a different person. Overall it was a bit disappointing telling my wife that her gift was a lackluster experience.

If you're used to high-end spa experiences, you will be disappointed. It's small, there are no amenities included with the services, and even simple things like warming the hot oils had to be requested instead of being part of the normal experience. I booked a rooftop couples massage a month in advance. When we arrived, they told us the rooftop was closed, even though they had already taken my deposit for this service. The weather was perfect, they then offered to set up the rooftop quickly if I paid an extra $200. The manager rushed me to make a decision on the spot about whether I wanted to pay extra for the rooftop or move to a very small, not aesthetically pleasing room instead. This completely took away from what was supposed to be a relaxing experience and didn't make sense because this was the service I originally booked. The management and staff aren't professional or accommodating. Very strange experience.

I initially tried to book through the website, selected my service and time, and received a prompt saying someone would be in touch. I never heard anything back. After 24 hours, I told my husband, and he called to schedule instead. He was told they don’t do online appointments—which was confusing and frustrating, considering the website allows you to select services and time slots. That was already a red flag, but I still decided to keep the appointment. When I arrived, I was on time, but the introduction felt unclear. The therapist spoke very softly to the point where I could barely understand her. She asked about pressure, and I requested deep pressure (especially since I had selected a therapeutic massage), and she asked about areas of concern. After that, she said something I couldn’t make out and left the room. I wasn’t given clear instructions, so I was left unsure of how to proceed. During the massage, communication continued to be an issue. I had to repeatedly ask her to repeat herself, which made the experience frustrating. The massage itself felt very novice, and I didn’t receive the level of pressure or relief I was hoping for. I’m not one to complain in the moment, so I let the session continue and still left a decent tip. However, overall, the experience—from booking to the service itself—fell short. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
