Walmart Neighborhood Market

We're constantly driving past this supermarket as well feel it's better to go to the other Walmart because it's larger so there's more of a selection. So happy we stopped in this week. Very welcome layout. Super clean. Friendly staff and great selection and stock. There's this app I use and I scan items for points and the other Walmart barely has any of the items. This one had a ton. My husband and mother in law really enjoyed our quick shopping trip and this may very well be our new go to in place of the other one especially if all we need is groceries.

A young man Johnny Barcena helped me pick out a lightning fast charger! What a fantastic young lad. Walmart got a steal when they hired him.

A little less pleased with this visit than ones in the past...aisles were consumed with employees working on pickup and delivery orders...I get that although shopping customer should have priority trying to reach items on shelves...I had a full cart that I had to self checkout because no person checkout available...made it a little more difficult...although I did encounter a few nice and pleasant employees 😀 👍

“Zir” or “Zer” walked up to check me out. I thought she asked how I was doing so I said fine. She then looked at me strangely. Then she said something else and I asked “are you talking to me?” She’s responded “no” without looking at me. I then noticed that she had her earbuds in and was talking on the phone with someone. (not the store radio earpiece but Personal earbuds) Her “no” when I asked if she was talking to me was the only word she spoke to me while checking me out. When she finished scanning my groceries, she did not even read off the total. I know it’s hard to find good help at an entry-level position like this, but it was a very awkward experience. It felt like I was bothering her, or that I was some sort of inconvenience. Next time will be self checkout. (12/2/25 @5:18PM)

Dead fly in counter at deli. I’ve been standing at the deli counter for 25 minutes while not being acknowledged and even called the front of store and nobody has came back here yet, after calling back to the front again, team lead Patricia came back and helped me. Thank you Patricia.
