Westlake Restaurant

We stopped by Westlake Restaurant while in the Lake Norman area and had a great experience. We had heard good things about their breakfast and lunch options, so we decided to try it out — and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The food was delicious — cooked fresh, flavorful, and served hot. It definitely exceeded our expectations, and we all enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable, just right for a relaxed brunch or lunch. It felt like a classic local favorite where the service and food quality keep people coming back. We’ll definitely be returning next time we’re in the area!

Breakfast at Westlake Restaurant was hands down one of the best we’ve ever had. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly — and the bacon was extra crispy just how we like it! Friendly service, great portions, and amazing flavor. We will absolutely be back. Highly recommend if you’re in the Denver, NC area!

We had lunch here Sunday afternoon. The state sanitation grade is 99 and our server was wonderful. We each received a small pitcher of our choice of tea for refills and the French fries were the best I have ever eaten. My husband enjoyed liver and onions and I had a pita burger - both were delicious.

Westlake Restaurant has been operating for over 20 years in the Denver community. The food is reminiscent of a true home cooked meal served by a staff that is a family unit. Our family has been a patron of this establishment for well over 15 years and our favorite dishes include : Pops Special with French Toast, Moms Special with Pancakes, 2 eggs with Smoked Sausage (the best!), Sausage breakfast burrito with grits or hash browns, and the kids Mickey pancake with bacon. While we primarily eat breakfast with our Westlake Family, we do enjoy lunch when we can get in! They have an amazing country fried steak and chicken sandwich as well as delicious sides! If you are looking for a true mom & pop home style dining experience- check out Westlake. The staff is amazing, the food is fantastic and you’re going to feel like you know the best kept secret in the community.

I randomly brought my 6 year old grandson to Westlake for lunch the other day. My grandson ordered the chicken tenders (which were made from real chicken breast meat) and fries (according to my grandson, "The best fries ever!").
