Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Huntersville

I cannot recommend Woofgang Bakery & Grooming Huntersville enough!! Brandon does an absolutely incredible job with my very anxious pup, Beau. Beau is extremely nervous around new people, so I was worried about taking him to a groomer for the first time. Thanks to Brandon’s patience, kindness, and gentle approach, Beau has done amazingly well at his first two grooming appointments. It’s clear that Brandon truly cares about the dogs he works with. As a nervous dog mom, I especially appreciate that Brandon takes the time to come out and talk with me during drop-off and pick-up. It always gives me so much peace of mind! The entire staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful every time we visit. They make the whole experience positive from start to finish. Beau always comes home looking absolutely adorable and smelling amazing! He even gets delicious treats from the bakery as a reward, which he loves. If you have a nervous or anxious pup, I especially recommend Brandon. You can truly trust that your dog will be treated with patience and compassion at Woofgang. This is a great grooming business, and we are so grateful to have found them! 🐶🐾

I paid for a full grooming service and I am 100% not satisfied with my pets experience. Brandon was very condescending and proceeded to say we need to get my pup medication for anxiety. My pup has NEVER had an issue getting groomed nor has he been a problem with his previous groomer. My boys nails did not get ground down and he now will not let us touch his paws at all. Since picking him up he is acting very strange and to himself. I only tried another groomer because they are much closer to our home but NEVER again. I specifically asked for a teddy cut and did not get that. If you don’t want your pup botched don’t take them here. Brandon’s energy is disgusting and this is not the right line of work for him. If you don’t truly care for animals you shouldn’t service them. They also have you pay before seeing your pup and I thought nothing of it so we booked an appointment for 6 weeks out. When I called to cancel all I got was “I’m so sorry”. Nothing to rectify the situation. This was the absolute worst experience & I don’t recommend anyone taking their pups to this establishment. The first 2 photos are when he last got groomed what we were expecting and the last 2 show what we got. If I could give 0 starts I would.

Cheri is an absolutely wonderful dog groomer, and I can’t recommend her enough! She is so kind and has such a great energy about her! Our dog, Winston, is not the biggest fan of getting groomed, but she is always so patient and understanding with him. His haircut looks amazing every single time! I always feel completely at ease leaving him in her care because she treats him like one of her own dogs. It means the world to know Winston is not only well-groomed, but also genuinely cared for. 🐾

I’m unfortunately pretty disappointed with my recent grooming experience. I brought a reference photo for how I wanted my dog’s face shaped, but the final result didn’t match what I asked for. The face shaping in particular is not done well — his snout isn’t rounded like the photo, and his ears look uneven and don’t appear to have been shaped at all. His coat was also cut shorter than I requested. When I arrived for pickup, the receptionist checked me out and had me pay before my dog was brought out. When the groomer finally brought him out, I wasn’t asked if I was happy with the haircut or if everything looked okay. I had already re-booked my next appointment, so I attempted to give some feedback at that point. The groomer did apologize, which I appreciate, but it didn’t feel like there was much effort to fully understand the concerns for next time. It seemed like the conversation was cut short while I was still explaining what I meant. The staff were polite, but the grooming result unfortunately did not meet expectations. Rocky is my anxious dog and from the moment I called to speak about it to the end of his cut was perfect. Stacey spoke with me about different ways to get Rocky ready for a cut. We had a meet and great with his groomer Lindsay who is very experienced and walked me through it. On the morning of his cut, Lindsay was very patient and was able to successfully groom Rocky without any issues. So happy with woof gang and their crew. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
