Brad came out to my slip on Lake Norman on short notice to diagnose an overheating issue on my 2019 Regal with a Volvo Penta 5.7. He quickly identified a failed impeller and debris blocking the cooling system, flushed everything out, and had the boat running cool again in no time. Took it out for a test run and it ran great. Fair pricing, knowledgeable, and professional. Highly recommend Workhorse Marine for anyone needing dockside service on Lake Norman.

I have used Brad multiple times now to get me out of some boating predicaments. An install of a trickle charger, oil changes, fixing a starter, fixing a bilge pump and more. Recently, I had a starter fail a few days before a big boating event with relatives who were coming from California. It was a short time frame and Brad was going to be out of town during the majority of that time. He came and got the boat running in such a short time frame, it was impressive. He can get to bolts that are buried deep away under the Volvo Penta engine!!!! Brad saved our weekend for sure, made a group of kids really happy as they got a chance to tube for the first time. All of this was possible because Brad came well after work hours to solve the issue. He is the best in the area. He stands by his work. He is responsive and friendly. He will take the time to explain the details. And he has a masterful way of organizing cables if you are an OCD type of person.

We had Workhorse Marina move our boat and jet ski yesterday. Long haul from SML to Hertford, NC. They were wonderful from the first time we contacted them through the delivery yesterday. Communication was fantastic! We knew where the boat was through out the whole trip. We would 100 percent recommend Workhorse for any of your boating needs. Great family business.

After an unfortunate trailer incident at Mayes Road & Old Statesville, he quickly and effectively remedied both trailer and boat back to excellent condition.
