The overview

What to expect.

Davidson does the small-town summer concert as well as anyone, and Concerts @ the Circles is the proof. Twice a month, the town closes off the block of Jetton Street near Clean Juice and turns it into an open-air stage — and the formula is just about perfect for a Saturday evening. An acoustic artist warms things up from 5:00 to 6:30pm, and the headliner takes over from 7:00 to 9:00. Best of all, it's completely free.

The setting is the whole appeal. With the entire block closed to traffic from noon, you've got the run of the street, and you're steps from the heart of downtown Davidson. The move locals swear by: make it a date night — visit the local shops and restaurants, stroll over for the music, and cap the evening with dessert or drinks at one of the spots nearby.

"

Close the street, set up two stages' worth of music, and let downtown Davidson do the rest — and it doesn't cost a dime.

It's a genuinely all-ages, all-comers kind of evening. Food and beverages are available for purchase, coolers and picnics are welcome, and you're encouraged to bring friends, family, comfy chairs or a blanket, and to come early to claim a good spot. Part of Davidson's broader 2026 Summer Concert Series alongside Concerts on the Green and Music & Makers, the Circles shows run all season and stack up some of the better tribute and variety acts on the lake.
