What to expect.
Cornelius Community Yard Sale at Wher-Rena Boatland
October 23–24, 2026 | Cornelius, NC
Remember Wher-Rena Boatland? That legendary boat dealership on Catawba Avenue?
Well, the boats are gone, but something fun is moving in!
An iconic piece of Cornelius history is becoming a giant community marketplace for the weekend.
CLT Wholesale and Registix are transforming the former Wher-Rena Boatland property into a huge community yard sale, and everyone's invited!
Got a garage full of stuff you've been meaning to sell? Furniture collecting dust? A closet that's reached maximum capacity?
For just $25, you can set up a booth, clear out your clutter, and turn it into cash!
And this isn't your ordinary neighborhood yard sale.
Local businesses, makers, artisans, resellers, and entrepreneurs are welcome, too. Sell your products, showcase your services, or bring food and drinks (subject to organizer requirements).
Not selling anything? Come shop! Browse garage-sale treasures, discover local businesses, grab a bite from the food trucks, and enjoy a weekend of community fun.
Who knows? That thing you've been trying to get rid of might be exactly what someone else has been looking for.
And if this first event is a hit, the organizers might just make it a regular thing!
