The overview

What to expect.

Calling all little ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and princesses! One of Davidson's sweetest Halloween traditions is back, and downtown is getting ready for a costume-filled evening of family fun.

The Davidson Halloween March & Trick-or-Treating returns Friday, October 23, as part of the town's annual Halloweekend celebration. Families are invited to dress up, gather downtown, and enjoy a festive Halloween procession with trick-or-treating along Main Street.

The fun begins at 5 PM, when costumed participants gather in the horseshoe parking lot in front of the Davidson Public Safety Building at 216 S. Main Street. From there, the Halloween March brings families together for an evening of candy, costumes, and community spirit.

And the fun doesn't have to end when the march is over! Head over to the Davidson Town Green afterward for festive pumpkin carving hosted by Davidson Parks and Recreation.

Whether your little one is celebrating their very first Halloween or already has a costume collection to rival a theater department, this beloved Davidson tradition is a wonderful way to make fall memories around Lake Norman.

LKN Life Tip: Arrive a little early to find parking and get everyone into costume before the 5 PM lineup. Bring a treat bag for the candy haul, and save some time afterward for pumpkin carving on the Town Green!
