Rural Hill Corn Maze 2026
What to expect.
One of Lake Norman’s favorite fall traditions is back! 🌽🍂
The Rural Hill Corn Maze returns to Historic Rural Hill in Huntersville for weekends September 5 through October 31.
Editor’s Take: If your fall checklist includes pumpkins, hayrides and getting hopelessly lost in a cornfield, this one checks all the boxes. 🍁 We especially love the Night Maze—bring a flashlight, grab your favorite people and see who actually has a sense of direction once the sun goes down. Rural Hill is one of those Lake Norman traditions that makes it officially feel like fall.
This year’s maze gives a nod to Rural Hill’s Scottish roots, with a design featuring a bagpiper and Highland cow. Make your way through the twists and turns while searching for game stations to complete your game sheet—or forget the strategy and just see where the corn takes you.
And the maze is only part of the fall fun. Make a day of it with a tractor-pulled hayride around the farm, pick out a pumpkin to take home, grab something from one of the visiting food trucks, and let the kids burn off some energy in the bounce houses.
Looking for a little more adventure? Night Maze returns in October on Friday and Saturday evenings. Bring a flashlight and try finding your way through the corn after dark. 🔦🌽
