What to expect.
Keep Lake Norman Weird! Strange Charlotte Fringe Festival Comes to Cornelius
Magic, comedy, film noir, music, and Dracula's roast! The Strange Charlotte Fringe Festival comes to Cornelius October 22–24, 2026.
Magic, monsters, comedy, and a little madness? Count us in.
Something strange is coming to Cornelius—and we mean that in the best possible way.
The Strange Charlotte Fringe Festival takes over the Warehouse Performing Arts Center October 22–24, bringing three nights of wonderfully weird entertainment to Lake Norman.
We're talking magic and mentalism, offbeat comedy, film noir, live music, improvised theater, psychic readings, and even a comedy roast of Dracula. Because apparently, the Count has some explaining to do.
If your idea of a great night out involves something a little unexpected, this one's for you.
Three Nights. A Whole Lot of Strange.
Thursday, October 22 — Magic & the Macabre
Kick things off with mind-bending magic and mentalism from Kevin Reylek, improvised theater from On Hallowed Ground, and music by Chandler Smith.
Friday, October 23 — Strange Stories
Expect an apocalypse-themed one-man performance from Gregory Akerman, film noir from A Casual Affair, live music, a one-act play, and the debut of The BAT!
Saturday, October 24 — Laughter Through the Darkness
Things get delightfully ridiculous with The Comedy Roast of Dracula, LIVE! NUDE! COMEDY!, more music, the return of The BAT!, and a bonus live gallery reading from The Fresh Tarot.
Not Your Average Night at the Theater
The Warehouse Performing Arts Center is an intimate performance space, making it a fitting home for a festival celebrating the unusual.
Come curious. Bring a friend who's up for anything. And prepare to leave with a story or two.
LKN Life Tip: Looking for a Halloween-season date night that's not another haunted house? This might be the strangest—and most entertaining—ticket in town.
