Food Lion

Yikes. I am a loyal Food Lion shopper for years. I stopped at this store this past Saturday. I’m fairly new to the area. First Saturday since all of the snow. It was fairly mild outside, so I figured it would be busy on a Saturday afternoon. Not too busy and I can see why. There was one lane open and the good natured lady operating the cashier had some challenges with the Tide detergent that was locked up. 🤦‍♀️ They were not well stocked. The grocery cart was hard to push. The floors were a mess. I’m not sure if they are renovating this store. But it sure felt like it. Maybe some signs that could be set up to explain why the floor was torn up, and why there was cardboard over top of the floor would be helpful. This will be on my emergency only stops.

Good Food Lion location. Nothing too special, but it is a good Food Lion. The place is well organized, clean, with competitive price. Most items are still more expensive than Walmart, but they carry items that are not available on their competitors. Service is quick and efficient, and they have working self check out counters. The place have large parking lot.

Clean and organized. Food produce section have decent selection. The only place I know that sells a variety of Corned Beef (including their in-house brand) and Spam at a cheaper price than most grocery. And though some of their other items are a bit more expensive compared to other groceries in the area, they're a great place to go for quick shopping. Plus a nice surprise to discover that they carry Pisqah Roasters Coffee! Not a lot of selections, but good to know!

This a great neighborhood pick up something quickly after work before heading home Food Lion. My husband and I love this neighborly Food Lion because its surround by several other stores and places to eat in a shopping center plaza. The store has a small area with hot food daily. Whenever we are in Food Lion staff is always busy working in the aisles. Today I noticed how an employee was dusting the window shelves in the front end of the store. Ms. Joyce seem to always be helpful and saying hello to customers. This particular Food Lion has many young employees that appear to be friendly and very respectful to customers.
